Os credores (aqueles que têm direito a receber os pagamentos do clube carioca) optaram entre três modalidades de pagamento. O processo irá para análise do magistrado e, posteriormente, à homologação.

A partir da homologação, o plano do Botafogo é quitar os créditos cíveis no prazo de 15 anos. Vice-presidente executivo do clube, Jonas Marmello foi um dos gestores responsáveis pela negociação com os credores e definiu a situação como um “desafio superado com sucesso”.

Eduardo Iglesias, assessor especial do Botafogo, negociou as dívidas com os gestores e ressaltou o caso do ex-atleta, que tem mais de R$ 8 milhões a receber e já gerou penhora de receitas do clube em razão do débito.

– No caso do Rodrigo, existia uma chateação muito grande com o clube pela forma como a relação havia sido conduzida nos últimos 23 anos, período que ele saiu do clube e não recebeu grande parte do que era devido. Hoje ele é um torcedor do clube, um cara que ajuda sempre que é chamado, além de um amigo pessoal. Pode-se dizer que essa ferida foi cicatrizada. Hoje essa relação de um cara que foi tão importante para o Botafogo dentro e fora de campo e isso sem dúvida é mais um ponto positivo de todo esse processo – afirmou Iglesias.

O Botafogo se transformou oficialmente em SAF em meados de março de 2022. O Glorioso chegou a acumular uma dívida total de R$ 860 milhões.

Pakistan and Oman will kick off the Asian Cricket Council’s (ACC) Rising Stars T20 tournament in Doha, Qatar, on November 14, with the showpiece India vs Pakistan match slotted for November 16. On Friday, the organisers announced the two groups: Group A has Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Hong Kong and Sri Lanka, while Group B has India, Oman, Pakistan and UAE.The tournament, earlier known as the ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup, will be played in the T20 format and pit the ‘A’ teams of Afghanistan, Bangladesh, India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka. The three Associate teams, Hong Kong, Oman and UAE, will field their main teams. وقال أبو تريكة عبر شبكة “بي إن سبورتس”: “فوز ليفربول اليوم سيمنح سلوت بعض الوقت، خاصة وأن الصحافة الإنجليزية تقول إن لديه الوقت حتى شهر يناير فقط، الفريق كان في أمسّ الحاجة إلى هذا الفوز، لأنه سيحسن معنويات اللاعبين بعد فقدان الثقة نتيجة الهزائم الأخيرة”.

وأضاف: “أريد الحديث عن جزئية محمد صلاح، عندما تقرر أن يجلس نجمك على مقاعد البدلاء في ظل الظروف الصعبة للفريق، فهذا يحمل رسالة، في كرة القدم هناك فرق بين أن الجماهير تلوم نجمها بسبب سوء النتائج، وبين أن المدرب هو من يُحمله المسؤولية”.

وتابع: “لذلك، عندما يقرر سلوت اليوم أن يجلس صلاح بديلاً ولا يبدأ به كأساسي، فهذا بمثابة إشارة منه: أنت المسؤول عن النتائج الأخيرة للفريق، نحن كلاعبين نشعر بهذه الأمور، وعندما يكون الضغط على المدرب عاليًا، غالبًا ما يبحث عن من يتحمل جزءًا من المسؤولية، اللاعب حين يشعر أن المدرب يلقي عليه كل شيء، يشعر بعدم الرضا والارتياح”.

وواصل: “حسنًا، لماذا لم يتخذ سلوت قرارًا بجلوس فان دايك بديلاً اليوم، فهو قام بلمس الكرة بيده في مباراة دوري الأبطال الماضية هل السبب لأنه هولندي (مثل سلوت)؟!”.

وشدد أبو تريكة: “التعامل مع النجوم يحتاج فهمًا خاصًا، يجب أن تُعامل النجم معاملة استثنائية تأخذ في الاعتبار أرقامه وإنجازاته وشخصيته، لكي تكسب ثقته وتحافظ على مستوى الأداء، أما الطريقة الحالية فلن توصل سلوت إلى أي شيء ولن تحقق له النتائج المرجوة”.

وأتم: “صلاح نجم يتعامل معامله استثنائية بأرقامه وشخصيته، وحتى تنال ثقته عامله كنجم، لكنك لا تعلم شيئًا عن هذه الأمور”.

A skillful half-century from Alishan Sharafu and a dogged one from Muhammad Waseem took UAE to 172 for 5 in their Asia Cup game against Oman on Monday.Both teams are searching for their first win of the tournament and their challenge in Abu Dhabi was to negotiate a slow and low pitch. Sharafu did so by charging out of the crease. Twelve attempts just within the powerplay fetched all six of his fours in that period. Then came perhaps his best shot, an inside out drive over cover for six against legspinner Samay Shrivastava.UAE were 11 for 0 in three overs. Then they whacked 39 runs off the next three and never looked back.Waseem was scratchy. He attempted a number of big hits and not all of them came off, indicating how he never really got the pace of the pitch. But thanks to his experience at this level, he was able to bide his time, recover from 3 off 9 to post 69 off 54. Oman didn’t help themselves in the field. They had a chance to dismiss Waseem on 27 off 22 but the fielder wasn’t all the way back on the long-on boundary and not only did he miss the catch he let it go for four. Then on 34 off 33, Shakeel Ahmed dropped a dolly at short fine leg. He came in for further punishment, hit for 12 runs (three times as many as he had given up in match) in the 15th over.Shah Faisal missed his mark in the 19th over which went for 18 runs and finished with figures of 4-0-45-0. UAE lost a couple of wickets in the last over, but they had done enough damage.

Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca seems to have pulled a major U-turn over one of his axed stars as a photo from Cobham training reveals his surprise change of heart.

The in-form Joao Pedro scored Chelsea’s only goal of the game to seal a dominant 1-0 victory over London rivals Tottenham, maintaining Chelsea’s impressive derby record, and followed that up with a comprehensive 3-0 triumph over bottom-side Wolves in their last match before the international break.

The victory came despite Maresca making eight changes from their midweek 2-2 draw with Qarabağ in the Champions League, continuing his rotation policy that has seen a grand total of 93 starting eleven changes in all competitions so far this season — the most of any Premier League side.

Their plethora of injury problems throughout the campaign, which has seen Levi Colwill, Cole Palmer, Benoit Badiashile, Enzo Fernández, Pedro Neto, Dario Essugo, Liam Delap, Reece James, Wesley Fofana, Tosin Adarabioyo, Andrey Santos and Josh Acheampong all sidelined at various points, has forced Maresca’s hand in this regard.

Chelsea also have 25 players in their squad who’ve been given at least 45 minutes of playing time this term, with only Nottingham Forest and West Ham (24) coming anywhere close to that number.

Two of the only Chelsea players who’ve not seen a single minute thus far are ‘bomb squad’ outcasts Raheem Sterling and Axel Disasi.

Both men, after failing to secure moves away in the summer, are training in isolation, with Sterling causing quite a stir when he posted an image of him training alone and very late at night in what looked like a barren training complex.

This social media post even prompted the PFA to intervene and ensure that Chelsea weren’t treating the duo unfairly, coming after Maresca previously stated there was no way back for either man and they’d continue training away from the group.

When asked if they could play their way back into the first team, Maresca’s reply was brief, and it was a resounding ‘no’ (The Mail).

Sterling, who spent last term on a failed loan spell at Arsenal, has been linked with a move to Celtic ahead of the January window. Disasi, meanwhile, was surprisingly spotted training with the first team this week — despite Maresca previously saying there was no way.

In a twist, The Mail have shared a photo from Cobham of Disasi tussling with Liam Delap in an international break session, with Maresca now going back on his word and allowing the Frenchman to compete with his squad after all.

While there was still no sign of Sterling, Disasi’s recall to first-team training makes for an intriguing development, and one which will make on-lookers wonder whether he’s done enough to earn back Maresca’s favour.

After playing only 18 per cent of available Premier League minutes under Maresca last term, Disasi failed to establish himself as a regular starter domestically, despite captaining them in the Conference League and largely playing as an emergency right-back.

Aston Villa sealed his loan signing for the remainder of 2024/2025 last January, coming after Disasi reportedly rejected a loan to Tottenham, insisting on competing with Unai Emery’s side in the Champions League instead.

Disasi’s brief flashes ultimately failed to convince Villa to make the move permanent, and when the summer transfer window opened, Disasi found himself back in Chelsea’s notorious bomb squad alongside Sterling.

Having rejected moves to Crystal Palace and West Ham among others, and despite rumoured interest from clubs in Turkey and Saudi Arabia, Disasi snubbed multiple opportunities, leaving him stranded at Stamford Bridge.

With the January window looming, Maresca could well be planning to hand the 27-year-old some minutes as a way to drive up interest from suitors, but we’re purely speculating here.
